musical friday five
...if I hurry, this will be the first Friday Five to be posted on Friday in awhile.
1. How often do you listen to music?
A lot less since I started getting into listening to podcasts and audiobooks on my commute to and from work, but I would say I listen to music every other day.
2. Do you ever listen to the radio? What is your favorite station?
I don't listen to any radio stations in Cincinnati besides 91.7 WVXU, and that's my favorite. I love Jean Cochran.
3. How do you find new songs, albums, or artists to listen to?
Music reviews in magazines at Borders sometimes... more often, I just pick shit up from the library. A lot of times I'll hear music in movies and that'll lead me to something.
4. When was the last time you bought a CD? A digital music file?
The last time I bought a CD was last month, I bought the new Ray Davies album Working Man's Cafe. The last time I bought a digital file, it was Loudon Wainwright's last album that had a bunch of songs from Knocked Up on it.
5. Do you think any of the technologies and distribution methods mentioned above will still be around in ten years? Why or why not?
Yeah, sure, they'll all still be around... why not?
